What services do you offer?

AMAD Diagnostic Centre provides comprehensive imaging services including Digital X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and OPG (Dental X-Ray). We specialize in diagnostic radiology for all medical specialties including orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, gynecology, and emergency medicine. Our state-of-the-art equipment and expert radiologists ensure accurate results with fast turnaround times for both routine and urgent cases.

How do I prepare for my diagnostic scan?

Preparation varies by procedure. Most X-rays require no preparation. CT scans may require fasting for 4-6 hours if contrast is used. MRI patients should remove all metal objects and jewelry. Ultrasound preparation depends on the area being examined—abdominal scans typically require 6-8 hours fasting, while pelvic scans may need a full bladder. We’ll provide specific instructions when you book your appointment.

Are the imaging procedures safe?

Absolutely. Our state-of-the-art equipment uses the latest low-dose radiation technology, minimizing exposure while maintaining excellent image quality. MRI and Ultrasound use no radiation at all. All procedures are performed by certified technicians following international safety protocols established by radiology associations. We take special precautions for pregnant women and children.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

While a physician’s referral is recommended for most diagnostic imaging procedures to ensure appropriate testing, we also accept self-referrals for certain screening services like mammography and general health check X-rays. Our FCPS-qualified radiologist, Dr. Mian Waheed Ahmad, can guide you on the most appropriate imaging for your health concerns.

What are your fees and payment options?

Our fees are competitive and transparent. Costs vary depending on the type of scan and complexity. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment methods.
